Taking Toviaz
Taking Toviaz as prescribed by your doctor may help to calm the bladder muscle and help keep it from squeezing as often. Toviaz is clinically proven to significantly reduce bothersome overactive bladder (OAB) symptoms like strong sudden urges, frequency, and accidents. That could mean less urgency to go to the bathroom and fewer accidents. Or it may mean that you don't feel like you have to go so often.
Getting results
When it comes to seeing results, everyone is different. You may see some improvement in the first couple of weeks, with further improvement over 12 weeks. So be sure to give yourself enough time to see how Toviaz may work for you. If you don't see any results after several weeks, talk to your doctor or nurse.
Just remember, you should take Toviaz as prescribed by your doctor. As with many medications, if you stop taking Toviaz, symptoms may return. Overactive bladder is a chronic condition and may require medication over time.
